Ingredients

A third of a batch:

  • 1/3 of 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 1/3 c hot milk
  • 10 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 c butter
  • 8×8 dish 

A FULL batch:

  • 8 oz cream cheese (Grandma’s tip – use a full block)
  • 4 c hot milk
  • 30 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c butter
  • 9×13 dish (Grandma’s tip – use 10×15) 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Melt cream cheese in hot milk.
  3. Using mixer, gradually add cream cheese to eggs
  4. Melt butter in baking dish.
  5. Pour in egg mixture.
  6. Bake 30 min for small batch, or 40-45 min for full batch.  After first 15-20 minutes, stir from edges to center of pan & continue baking.
