Ingredients
A third of a batch:
- 1/3 of 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 1/3 c hot milk
- 10 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 c butter
- 8×8 dish
A FULL batch:
- 8 oz cream cheese (Grandma’s tip – use a full block)
- 4 c hot milk
- 30 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c butter
- 9×13 dish (Grandma’s tip – use 10×15)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Melt cream cheese in hot milk.
- Using mixer, gradually add cream cheese to eggs
- Melt butter in baking dish.
- Pour in egg mixture.
- Bake 30 min for small batch, or 40-45 min for full batch. After first 15-20 minutes, stir from edges to center of pan & continue baking.
